Our endless coastline plays host to picturesque rocky inlets for intimate dun-dappled days and long stretches of unspoilt white sand beaches for just about whatever you want. Sampieri is renowned as one of the best beaches in Sicily, luckily its only 20 minutes away. There you'll find a charming town with fresh homemade granita and families playing paddle ball and couples on paddle boardsPunta Secca, home of the famous Inspector Montalbano, boasts endearing restaurants across its stone cobbled streets with spectacular seafood and the pristine seas in which they caught it.
Days exploring the Sicilian coastline are not easily forgotten. Set sail aboard a motorboat or sailboat to see the island through the eyes of a local, from the water.

History and Culture

From museums and galleries filled with magnificent frescos and Renaissance paintings, to engaging contemporary modernist performances, the timeless and the new blend seamlessly in Modica. Just a stones throw from Villa Modica, the 'City of Art' Modica plays host to an incredible abundance of galleries and ornate design including 'the jewel of the baroque UNESCO Val di Noto' the Cathedral of San Georgio. Slowly roaming the elegant steps at your own pace or with a guided tour you'll be captivated by a lush green city carved from marble.
The Valley of the Temples lies to the west. Standing, staring out to sea for millennia, it is the archetypal embodiment of Greek myth, and take it from us, it's best experienced as the sun sets over the Mediterranean behind it
Ragusa Ibla's narrow renaissance streets burst open to charming piazzas, hidden courtyards and the Ibleo Gardens. If you're lucky, you'll hear the harpists serenade you as you amble through.

Cuisine

Modica is famed for its chocolate made using a method that dates back to the Aztecs. Cocoa beans, sugar, and spices mixed together with a stone molino, creating a grainy texture and a distinct flavour profile that simply melts away on your tongue. Bonajuto does it best, and have been doing it for more than 150 years. We recommend their granita topped with cream.
