Modica is also called the Positano of Sicily the town of Modica was so particular until the middle of the last century that it was called the second Venice of Italy: it is situated on the valley where two torrents merge into each other and there were a lot of large and small bridges to connect the zones of the lower area.

And it's not only art that is experiencing a resurrection on the island but agriculture too: the wine, that only 20 years ago was considered only good enough for blending vats on the continent, is now one of the most fashionable in Europe and is being exported all over the world. The Villa is located on a strategic point: this part of Sicily has an abundance of art, archaeology, history, breathtaking scenery and of course wonderful food to offer.
